Give to the First Generation Scholarship Fund
All of us in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts are so proud of our graduates. You persevered during some extraordinary times, and we know you will make all of us very proud. With a degree from our Edwards College, you are ready for the next step in your lives, and I know that great things await you. In order to celebrate your accomplishments and to give a little support to the incoming class of Edwards College Chants, I invite you to participate in a scholarship fundraising competition I started this May with the first group of the 2020 graduates. In May, the graduating class from the Edwards College, the College faculty, and the Board of Visitors for the Edwards College raised enough money for two scholarships, each for an incoming freshman who is a first-generation college student. It would be so wonderful if you could lend a hand to a future student of the humanities and fine arts, in particular one who will be the first in their family to attend college. Your support will ensure that they too may learn and grow through the Edwards College experience. I thank you for your support because any contribution, regardless of how little or large, will make a big difference in a future student’s life. My most heartfelt congratulations to all of you again, and thank you!
