Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies
The Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies offers a major with two possible concentrations: Hispanic Studies and Multiple Languages. In addition, students can minor in French, German, or Spanish and can take courses in Italian and Russian.

Studying foreign languages and cultures opens up doors that lead you to places you may never have dreamed you can go. Whether it is studying abroad, working and living outside the United States, gaining employment with international corporations and agencies, or working with speakers of languages other than English in the US, the critical competencies that you obtain in our department will allow you to successfully collaborate with colleagues and clients from across the globe in the twenty-first century.
